Jewellers' strike against 1% excise duty enters 21st day

Let the jewellers strike . They havent paid any taxes for close to 30 years in the name of earning foreign exchange. In fact the excuse duty should have been 14.50%. They are not paying vat since they claim set off. Also excuse duty will be passed on to the consumers hence why they are protesting makes no sense.

Bravo, Jaitley must be taught a lesson, his arrogance will take Modi Head too, if he continues with such type of budget and playing with people aspirations.
Development is one part and people aspirations in democratic country cannot be ignored we are not living in a dictatorship where such anti social people are politicians. A politician who cannot look after each segment of society is unfit, must retire instead of harming the party.
