HDFC Bank has no love and respect for India: Court

Strict action against people who do not execute their duties...Right justice... Bank needs to take action...but maybe HDFC bank as a whole to be blamed for ?? may be i am not qualified to comment

Even I had very bad experience with HDFC. They have raised the average min balance to 10,000/pm without any intimation!

Now a days, poor employees are being screwd by these corporate banks in the name os salary acs. First they trap some senior officials of your company by giving benefits both in cash & kind and then poor low-paid employees are forced to open salary acs in the name of no-frills acs. Once we had employees in a dislocated place where only a national bank had an atm. Everytime these poor people used atm, they paid service charges taxes. When complained the manager did not listen.

Another 4th class employee who fell sick & could not attend duty for year was not paid any salary. In between also he withdrew whatever was there in the account to meet his treatment expenses. When he joined back & got his first salary, this bank deducted nearly 1/2 his salary towards non-maintainance of min balance as the no-frills account had been converted to a regular account in absence of any salary credit for a year. Poor fellow's application was rejected & the banking ombudsman had to be complained. Then only they budged.

In my case also when I left the company, after few months when salary stopped coming & they converted to an ordinary ac. After 2-3 months when avg balance below 10000 they started deducting 350 Rs. When I approached the bank to convert my ac to a no-frills ac (which they have) they flatly refused. Then I told I will close down my ac. Hearing this they had some backside discussions & one guy told they will reverse the amount. And it got reversed but after few days it was again deducted. So, I withdrew all my money & advise everybody to be wary of this bank.

There are a number of service providers, including government departments, whose attitude cause embarrassment to the people at large and consequently affecting the reputation of the country. When giving employment to hold such responsible positions, these persons must be first taught what are the priorities, etc.

We really need to change our attitude only then we can become world class...
