E-commerce or China market... these people wanted to kill the domestic market, now they have competition among themselves. I would say the sooner these E-commerce portals die, the better for the people. As they not only are shutting small business but also depriving local employment.

When, you have the same market segment serviced by companies, which employed people at low cost, but the dealer, generally not a very educated person, does not rake in millions as his salary, does not indulge in hi fi life, but makes a kill when possible, but tags along even when margins plunge, because of low running overhead,
.But the e commerce companies, having a lavish office, heavily dressed lip stick smacking lady at an ugly salary disproportionate to the real effort goes in,then the CEO,CAO,&name the fancifully anointed so called young software techies at big salaries, with no capital of theirs, buy at a very back breaking prices from manufacturers GO BROKE, because these commodities are not capable of supporting such hifi life styles for products which were already in the market.Certainly some software supported sales with some efficient staff will make buying and selling a bit easy, which will succeed if it is evolved in the present environment.I was one of those protagonists who always mocked at these new age softies who think they can change with few lines of software. If these so called new startup produce hardware/software they will survive, if they to start with fill their guts with ugly salaries leaving the investor sucking his thumb.
