Hopefully all the major routes will be covered in the next 3-4 years. But first the Talgo has to be approved and the commercial agreements have to be worked out. Negotiation may take a long time like it is happening with Rafale fighter jets.

yes you are correct even for Chennai Delhi also should run TALGO instead wasting Thousands of crores in Bullet and after finish=ing most of the passengers cannot afford in India for travelling by bullet instead TALGO should be encouraged as it is suitable for existing track .

What is so great? This had to be done which was a recommendation of the Railway Board. Nothing to do with Prabhu & pm Mofi. Prabhu had to only put his signature on the paper.
WHY ARE ALL TRAIL RUNS OF TANGO TRAINS AND GATIMAN TRAINS ONLY DONE IN NORTH INDIAN PLACES. ARE SOUTH INDIAN PLACES OR PEOPLE NOT ELIGIBILE FOR BETTER,UPGRADED TRAVEL? WHY GATIMAN IS ONLY BEING RUN IN NORTH INDIA?

It is done on track which can support 200 Km per hour .. most of india doesnt have track even for 100 KM run

This is not bullet train technology. This is Talgo Train Technology, which is about one tenth the cost of the Japanese Bullet train. The Talgo train and technology cost about Rs. 20-25 Cr/km whereas the bullet train technology costs about 250-300 Cr/km. The best thing is that, the Talgo technology can be applied on existing tracks (with some upgradation) whereas Bullet train technology requires separate dedicated tracks. This is the way to go for Indian Railways.

No it was not done by prev govt. Talgo approached India only after Suresh Prabhu became rail minister, not even when Sadanand Gowda was rail minister after Modi won.
