rediff is an expert in analysing the ideas regarding the recent portfolio churn that has happened in NDA-Modi govt. It seems that they have direct connection with govt as they are portraying detailed reasoning regarding it !!! dear rediff and those who are writing this please stop speculation. the public of India is not fool. we have elected a good government. so plz let them do their work. stop speculating why when where every now and then about the govt.

Sounds rather amusing that an exercise purely adminsitrative in nature is being seen largely from Rediff's political eye....compulsive resorting to fabricated stories....perhaps due to its inability to reach at the real news before other channels and websites hog that space.
But why has Ravi Shankar ben alloted Law ministry and Sadanand Gowda moved out of it? Was it because Gowda was not able to progress at all as far as the judicial reforms are concerned? Is The PM worried about the judicial reforms ? Is ravi Shankar more capable than sadanand Gowda for the law ministry? These questions need answers to know the government's emphasis on judicial reforms which are hurting the common man as well as the ease of doing business. Mutual agreements, if not honoured cannot be enforced. Bounced cheques have no remedy. Cases keep on rotting in the courts recently there were news about two cases solved in 34 and 44 years-the first one was about murder. So the accused kept on enjoying while the case was dragging. The memorandum of procedure for the top judiciary to appoint judges to judiciary is still doing the rounds. Gowda is now minister for Minister of Stastitics and Programme Implementation. Ravi Shankar Prasad locked horns with telecom companies over rise in tariffs, poor work for solving call drops and insistence on paying fees upfront in 2015. So much for efficiency in Mr Modi's govt.
Ravishankar Prashad is expected to contribute as Minister of Law better than his predecessors by finding out why number of multiplication of litigation on same matter is causing burden on High Courts and Supreme Court. The CAT Benches were introduced decades back to ensure quick justice on service matters that were relieving huge burdens on High Courts. Now CAT is being used as an additional tier to delay justice to the employees by referring the lost cases by the government to High Courts and Supreme Court.
The telecom biggies like Airtel, Reliance, Idea,Vodafone have lot of clout & are close to the most powerful office in Luytens,New Delhi. Prasad made the mistake of taking on these powerful corporates, & annoy the powerful office by disobeying them, & thus was shifted. You do not have to be honest,such pose honest, give benefits to the corporates.
