While UP has given highest number of seats to BJP and getting ignored since last many years in congress govt, why any UP city is not selected in first batch.
Kanpur largest city of UP and once known as Manchester of the East and was textile hub of Eastern world is very much ignored since many years and need a revamp.
Why not include atleast two cities from Kanpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Agra, Varanasi of UP.
this doesn't give good impression of Modi govt to people of UP.
Its good that all subjectivity was kept out of the way ... If a city met the parameters it was part of the race .... and the top best cities were selected now ... governance and law and order are major issues in UP, Bihar and WB and the results have shown that effect ... well done Modi Govt thats how things must be done ...

The way the smart cities getting funded will take a minimum of 100 years that too if all the money is properly used then colonies will come for low cost housing and finally Indians are going to live there and everybody knows how they take care of cleanliness and discipline and now Kashmir is complaining where our armed forces has to protect that too Indian forces has to protect

You must be crazy Nalin to suggest it was a purely objective process. MP is a worthless state with corruption galore, environment degradation at it's peak & lack of governance. This state has been chosen as it is an important BJP state. No other criterion was applied. And you want us to believe a liar has spoken the truth?

. Get your facts right. Owaisi bros are not the ruling party in Telangana. They just got coouple seats from their strong bastion the ABC mohalla in a portion of Hyderabad city.
