The news is unnecessarily being hyped and bhakts chanting how good India has suddenly become in terms of corruption. Read the actual news first from the original source. India's rank has improved to 76 from 83 because certain countries have turned more corrupt. Comparison if done should be on actual index score from previous years. in 2013, when Manmohan Singh was in power, the score was 36 which deteriorated to 38 in 2014 when Modi was in power and this year it has remained on 38 that means we are no less corrupt than in 2014 and in fact more corrupt than in 2013 when congress was in power.
Harping on partial or no info is what is peculiar to certain section of supporters of U know whom.

36 to 38 is actually an improvement. Denmark the least corrupt country has an 91 points. Read the article first and then comment.

The title is wrong. Rank 1 in the most corrupt countries list should mean the country with highest corruption but the report gives rank 1 to least corrupt country. It means the ranking is given on basis of Honesty Index. Therefore heading should be India's rank improves in honesty index of corrupt countries
