The way now a days auditor audits bank branches there is going to be many more scams in the Bank.One of the main reason for the same being non updation of knowledge and very rarely the auditors/employees/officers go even through their Individual bank's circulars.Since the auditors do not go through the circulars of the Bank/RBI hence they cannot furnish correct observations and with this little or no knowledge on the subject he can not challenge the Head of the Bank branch.In the process irregularities go on increasing with the passing of days and later on turn into scam.Now a days so many avenues are available online to increase knowledge but very negligible portion are desirous of increasing knowledge to help the Bank.Second thing the Branch head does not have courage to speak against any Corporate otherwise he may loose branch business which will affect not only his promotion but also of many executives.Since there is no punishment at the top level because they are either may be connected to Big Corporates or some influential persons hence this scenario will continue.C K Som
