People need social security in India from Budget.
by Sanjay Tomar on Feb 29, 2016 06:17 AM

In India people don't have social security except government employee & politician. Other all sector & all people are living miserable life exploited by corporate, government policies these include, farmer, labour , private, corporate employee all are getting exploit. Government is saying seventh pay commission will not increase inflation I am asking from government if production not increasing why government deserve more salary then private & corporate employee from tax paid money should be used in development not for government employee salary which increasing very fast compared to private , corporate employee is not justified can't be tolerate. Manrega should not be stop unless poor people get better alternative to survive , better job, irrigation is right but in the name of irrigation we have seen huge scam in past nothing has been done.

Service Tax
by ashwani on Feb 19, 2016 05:26 PM  | Hide replies

If service tax is increased further in this budget than it will be one more negative step to put more burden on Indian middle class which is already loaded with several taxes.

jaitly has no option but to increase ST plus ADD few more services into the ST catagory.

blame congress for this as they looted this country for last 60 years and still we have no evidence against them so that legal action can be taken against them

WHEN THE PRICE OF CRUDE OIL prices have reached rockbottom, we must be able to get some relief from govt not from their coffers but from the coffers of the Gulf countries-oil producing/exporting countries Jetly is not giving that concession to the commonman

When we will able to have a free known budget than the present secret budget?
The businessmen are cleverer than the finance minister.
They have paid economists in their pay roll to assess the probable tax in cidence in each and every category.
The secrecy is only to add cost of govt machinery

It is obvious that you are a Bhakt! And a blind one at that! He is not asking a question, he is trying to tell you who are the babus entrusted with the job of budget preparation!

Whosoever prepares it or FM, we are fed up with Kisan and poor, harder days, more tax net etc.,etc., from 1950 onward, every FM along with his Babus show his cunningness to befool people, only looks after politicians and govt. servants due to DA linked pay, pension and perqs. rest of Indians do not live here, they are only goats to be milked by way of taxes.
2016 is again pay/pension revision-effect Rs.1 lac crore without any GDP growth on eradicating poverty. Same story which congress repeated.

First of all, they are not ordinary Babu's. They are all highly educated Senior IAS Officers, some are even better educated than the Minister himself and are Financial Experts.

Don;t compare IAS with uneducated class politicians. Its irony that because of democratic system they end up getting Goons and Dacoit as their bosses.

Waste of human and material resource

Instead of printing hard copies, why not give a laptop and CD to all the MPs / other members to go through or give a link from closenet server so that they can only access the doc with relevant security of password as it is only for a few hours where some 750 MPS will read through (LS & RS)and folks from finance and other related departments. Its a waste of human resource and material resource who so ever needs will take the required printout for future discussion during the budget session.
security, transportation and secrecy costs plus the material costs.

Many do not know as to how it could be opened and many may not have the interest to read, even read, could not analyse. Simply waiting for their party's leader's opinion and based on that they would reply. How many could analyse and pass their comments. In general totally the ruling party and its allies hails and the opponents speaks of bad.

How much money is spent on this exercise? I feel in modern times there should be technology enabled simpler mechanisms. Each Fellow should be given a password which will become active at the chosen time and online printing should be enabled linking the budget closed server to the general system at the given time. While babus get halwa generally it is seen people get neem cakes.
