are we moving ahead or going backwards ? why this tax terror now after DeMo ?

The income tax data collated shows only 48,417 persons reported income of more than Rs 1 crore in a year. Yet luxury brands like BMW, Jaguar, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche and Maserati sell almost 35,000 cars every year, as per a PTI report.

is the IT department honest ?
is the IT department sleeping all these years ?

and those who says only 3 percent or 4 percent pays tax....dont know that there are so many indirect taxes which goes to govt

make all the govt employees and organisations accountable

Demonetization Fault!
by Ashutosh Mahajan on Dec 29, 2016 11:40 PM  | Hide replies

After demonetization govt should have given a period of only one week to exchange or deposit old currency. During this large period many black money holders may have purchased costly things from market and traders may have supported them by giving backdated receipts. Now Govt have very big data in Banks. To find out exactly the black money, Govt should use a sophisticated software to analyse that data.

by Anand A on Dec 29, 2016 09:01 PM

every car buyer should be required to show IT filed for prev AY, just like its required for home loan.

When there are only 25lac ppl in this country who have filed IT declaring income >5lac/yr, how come we have zillions of cars zipping by???????????????? This country is full of TAX CHEATS, full of Phukkatiyas, wanting everything from gov free of cast, not paying a penny.

IT notices to post-notebandi car buyers
by abhay singh on Dec 29, 2016 04:01 PM  | Hide replies

Not sure to call this is stupidity or Innocence of our IT officials. they should scrutinize the records pre-demonitisation car sales as well to catch the culprits.. Dealers have sold inventory "Back Dated", thus easy escape route for them.
