Ramping up of LHB production is not easy. Costs are also unable for railway to bear. safety of passengers paramount. Despite this, it is a solvable problem with application of non-bureaucratic thinking. Many many areas all over India are unconnected where rail lines as low as 60 kms can turn out huge profits at existing fare structure. Move older ICF coaches to these places along with laying of tracks.

Good suggestion. All passenger trains should be on ICF. All express trains should be converted to LHB at the earliest.
