IT IS WELL KNOW THAT PEOPLE WITH SMALL FLATS SAY 5 IN NUMBER RENT IT OUT FOR LESS THAN 1 LAKH SAY 98 THOUSAND SO 5 FLATS MAKES IT NEARLY 5 LAKHS AND THEY GO AWAY WITHOUT PAYING TAXES
This exchange of old notes with a new one is a foolish step. If Govt is really interested in curbing black money , it should identify certain dealings such as political donation, gold , immovable property etc and ban cash transaction on those.
Demonitisation is just one of such measures these government must be contemplating. I am sure they are having some more steps in their offering. I know of many politicians in my state to have large pockets of land in benami holdings. These assets have been bought from corruption, illegal dealings. taking actions on these guys will not only bring the land prices down and also people with small and medium income can dream of having their shelters. i am sure mandating compulsoy epass book is not small job to be done in some short time. this will also require political support from state governments. Illegal holding of gold should be cracked on urgent basis.
This news is a speculation. If indeed the GOI brings in such a measure in the same manner as they did Demonitisation, it will complete the circle of chaos that has been created in the entire length and breadth of the country for only common man, and generously exempting the actual black money holders, namely, big industrials, politicians, traders, real estate developers, etc. Epass books for real estate properties has already been introduced in select districts of the country, but still the mission is far from complete. Who knows, the government will put RSS guys to do the job so that ruling party people get all undesirable benefits. Let the PM consult specialists (not sangh parivar members) before embarking on such adventures.

i am a common man living in a rented house. I paid my rent by cheque this time. then there is payment to a society which too i made by cheque. for my vegetable and other needs, I have gone once to Bank since Nov. 8 and get withdrawl of Rs. 10,000/ that is more than enough for me. the whole problem is created by banks and some people who want the govenment's move to become a failure.
