Honourable transport minister should see the major drawback of of water way projects, as under. (1) Water ways cannot operate at some places during monsoons, due to high current of water flow and storms. (2) Lot of security measures are required for water way projects, for pilferage of cargo by water way mafias, especially in isolated places and during night times. (3) Water ways need dredging to maintain proper depths of the water ways. Dredging may lead to disturbance of water way lives like fish, dolphins, frogs, etc. (4) Dredging operation is a periodical process, which needs proper water front machinaries, which may lead to high cost to maintain water ways.
Nithin Sir if you develop waterways, how our politicians we get bribe. They get loans from ADB, WORLD BANK and from man contries in the name of Infrastructure development in India. All of above financing because they want to sell their machinery etc. Our politicians gets lots of bribes and leave us in debt.
if you suddenly develop waterways corrupt politicians will become job/income less.
