sports shall be subject in senior secondary to top level of education.they can study any subject of their choice.all business houses and govt. deptt. shall extend financial support to players.
Sports like Batminton, table tennis, volleyball etc do not need huge place or infrastructure. I wish such infrastructure can be created in every residential colonies for people to go and play for free. Coaching videos on techniques and diets can be played with LCD player in the complex. That is how one can build sports culture.

Dear prasad, I am sure you consider yourself a normal citizen of this Nation - Just try to visualise - The SIMPLE Idea that you have given - WHY - has it not been implemented till date? - Is your Idea something UNKNOWN to the Sports Officials? - OR - Is it that CORRUPTION is KING! I whole heartedly AGREE with you - BUT - I do NOT expect any such things happening in India - at least NOT for the next decade or two!.
We have this tendency to overcelebrate people who have just started out winning things. The medal is creditable, but it is just one bronze. Michael phelps has 26 medals alone! By annouuncing all sorts of cash rewards, khel ratnas and what not, we make the athlete complacent and he or she becomes compalcent and comes out with excuses. See the case of saina who is a full fledged celeb in India but the results dont speak of late. Same with hockey team, who rae hyped to great heights but they disappoint in global events. Instead we should learn from the likes of Dhoni, Kohli, and other cricketers, and also Sania mirza who are well rewarded, but unlike other sportspeople, they never lose focus and always chase excellence. Thus they are the best in the world, and Indian team is now ranked no.1. Sania is world no.1. They play great under pressure, and this is something that other sportspesons, like shooters who fail in olympics each time except Bindra, can learn from cricket

Cricket is not a Olympic game, which is effectively played in less than 10 countries. If you learn from cricket, you could won only within a continent. Not at global level. Only when rewarding all games, we can get some medals in few games. If you focus on only cricket, it become just entertainment for us and monetary benefits for corporate people.

Looks like Sandeep is taking lessons from Shobha Dey. The PROBLEM with people like Sandeep is that - They themselves are NOT CAPABLE of even playing Gulli-Danda in the streets - AND - have the SHAMELESSNESS to CRITICISE the PROVEN BEST PLAYERS of the World!. Undoubtedly Indian Players have a long way to go - BUT - To criticise those who have the GUTS to reach 'THERE' is a trait of the TRAITORS.
My sincere request to all brand to support all sports so that money will not be a hindrance to people taking part in sports and in few years india will have more medals in any sports
