chanakya maurya
Politics and economics.
by chanakya maurya on Aug 11, 2016 08:25 PM

They are so inevitably interwoven that the emperors like Chandragupta Maurya had had a substantial amount of deference to his Mahaamaatya and Economist Kautilya or Chanakya.

Lately the politician and the economist are on different and opposite planes with the latter always trying to mould the earlier in his/her schemes of national direction however questionable they could prove in the long run.

Raghu, a seasoned economist, is aware of this trend, and was careful to steer clear of any possible controversy.

So he chose neither to be a critic or a false flatterer of King Canute.

Mr Rajan
by mukaddim hussain on Aug 11, 2016 08:05 PM

He was clever enough not to reply to the question, which is useless, because any view which is not liked by BJP, RSS or for that matter, would be a subject of criticism by the concerned.
