It was interesting to study the Tiago Spanish Rly Coaches initial trial runs by I.R. We have the capability to Indigenise, these coaches quickly, our Coach factories at Kaputhala can make such light weight all Aluminium, Puff Insulated and light weight air suspension coaches for mass use. Please see the low slung coaches, which means our Rly. Platforms will have ease of entry by elderly & Differently enabled passengers. No need to go in for costly Bullet Trains for the time being, we can use the existing resources to move forward for high speed travel on IR. What is required is Willingness of Rly Board, Political Support and Rly Employees Determination.
with the same intention in mind. But our local politicians and people want that the train stop at their stations. So net result is efficiency of Rajdhani has reduced. Same will happen for any train until the politicians rise above petty politics.
that Indian Locomotives can haul Talgo coaches and break records but can do the same with Indian made Coaches!!!! Hopefully the next trial will be with a Talgo loco.

Anand, you have mistaken. The trail run was through Talgo Engine only. They are moving the bogies from one track to other using local locomotive enginmes.

hopefully, as u said, it must be during shunting. But from the second pic, the white loco looks like its indian.

The loco is Indian. The Talgo is faster even with an Indian loco because of lighter bogies.

Dont go by the image given here. During the trial run, the Talgo coached were hauled by WAP5 of India. we havent brought the engines yet.
