Why did they not change or delete the credentials of the person after his exit ? Nowadays there are cross checks and Multi Factor Authentications for confidential data. If the confidential data was hacked or forcibly intruded then it is a different story. Companies like TCS can not ever do such manipulations or have such malpractices but it might be an individual's mistake or maybe wrongdoing. The onus is on Epic Systems to prove malafide intentions to claim compensation. By the way it is an independent and a layman's opinion after reading the article.

Americans enjoy punching Indian companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro ... Their companies will dominate the world and they want free access to Indian market - insurance companies for instance ( free market you see!) - when it comes to their markets, they will harass you. The same treatment is meted out to Pharma companies from India. See how little is written in the article about what really is the trouble that TCS created.
EPIC could be the culprit by sending its own person to TCS which was maintaining the software and asked its employee to do illegal activity so that they can file case against the largest indian IT company TCS as they know very well of TCS since they were having tieups and some where it could have gone sour and things got in to a different angle on taking money out of TCS other way round of filing case against them in the US court.

There is no case against TCS, EPIC is just trying to take advantage of the American law to extract money from TCS. Some one has unauthorizedly downloaded few documents from EPIC and they claim a billion dollars for this. b*llsh*t man!!! There is no proof against TCS that they have misused any of this sh*t from EPIC

What do you know about the internal dirty politics and Workplace bullying that happen in the MNC's ?. No one in India dares them because our legal system is a hopeless one...MNC's have money and time on their side, employees on the other end don't have these privileges...Foreign employees are not like Indians and US legal system is not the useless, underrated, unprofessional Indian legal system where cases go on and on for a decade's time...

They may have a good legal system - but not perfect. Indian or for that matter any other nationality - when it succeeds in US market, you will see some kind of trouble in the US. Remember, they harassed Indian IT workers when they had proper Visas?? They put something on their legs to track them?? They treat Indians STILL like cattle. Perfect legal system ... no no no.
