Hard to imagine and even hardest to digest that highly disciplined, technologically superior, honest and upright Germans could do that. I am doubtful whether Herr Martin Winterkorn is either hallucinated, mesmerized or poor victim of "Black Majic" played by Asian mole! (so that his Diesel engine emits 40% more under dynamic conditions?)

VW is concentrating all their efforts in India: no rules or norms or regulations: you can even sell a buffalo-cart as a car in India.
And Indians blindly going for "brand", it is a very easy passage for uncouth businesses.
Please dear Indians: stop videshi and stick to swadeshi: even if the cars wont have air bags, the body is sturdy enough and no false claims
