Good article and all companies and industrialists must realize that unless industrialization and production take a big leap the dream of PM MODIS make in India can't be realaises. Also on the part of MODIS govt it shld curtail gifts infructuous and waste expenditure at least by 25% min to push up infra projects on top priority. Also quality of all infra works shld be top priority punishing corrupt govt employees as wellas politicians too alike, since corruption starts at top n percolates to bottom.jeediguntagoa

Make in India is possible why not ?
by Ramanarao Kallepally on Sep 18, 2015 09:28 AM

India's economy growth is possible when Make in India concept will work practically provided in our democratic country we are having a triple opposition and corrupt congress parties does not want to develop the Indian economic growth in all respects, because the corrupt congress could not do and achieve since their corrupt ruling for six decades which has bankrupted the Indian treasury when they have handed over treasury keys to BJP & its alliances, under such circumstances how one can expect the economic, social, educational, health and employment opportunities will grow till the draw backs of derailed economy will be on right track which will take some more time, for taking over all such ill-intensions and bad thoughts of Corrupt Congress and its alliances will cooperate with BJP & NDA alliances India then can be compared with USA, UK, Germany, France etc. as developed country in world. My thoughts

1. It is a good article and nice analysis.

2. Language : Bright student from village or little English has to climb two hills.
a) Understanding English and b) Learn the subject

3. Due to the language barrier India has been behind on Technological curve. So much energy is wasted on understanding English.

4. One of the way:
Convert high quality vidoes on Engineering into local languages. Videos should be easy to understand. Follow the panchatantram model.
Stories of Birds and Animals are used to explain Rajaniti and Philosphy.

5. I have gone Finite Element Analysis videos put together by IIT. It is for IITans.
Effort should be made to simplify these videos and convert them into local language.

6. Make the hill easier to climb. Once the concepts are understood clearly, you would have quality of students coming out of colleges would increase --> Lead to innovations.

This is just one way to address the issue.
