False Note

The advancement is certainly there but there is one exaggeration in what Ms Jayalalitha says. When the total investment needs for Infrastructure is USD 1 trillion for India, how can T N share be USD 250 Billion ? Looks incredible.

TN has completly lost it under the 50 year of Dravidian leadership. All the good stuff in TN is becos of its people and Kamaraj. These two partis have not built a dam or a reservoir or a port or aiport. Both are corrupt and come from low cultural background.. The past 10 years all the major industries have moved out to other states.TN is unable to retain its talent pool with the intellectual elite migrating to the west..With proper governace TN could have become a South Korea..Instead it has let gujarat, andhra, karanataka eat all its investments.... TN is only good enough for freebies and amma canteens

Very mistaken impression , sir. Each party in power in TN made its own contribution and now TN is advanced industrially and very advanced socially, with very little communal conflict.Karnataka is good but lies somewhere in the middle in any ranking of states while TN is generally in the top 5.

The most closed state one can find.......
by ashok mani on Sep 09, 2015 04:34 PM  | Hide replies

Despite the culture, heritage, the intellect.........TN poses a major problem to people from outside. The Anti Hindi Stand surely put the state off by 50 long years.........in the process the state has built an image of being closed to any kind of influence by people from other states. The Leadership, under the veil of Self Sustained and Self Sufficient has successfully warded off the natural influence that needs to flow within the state. Business other than those by the people who belong to the state has been shunned............
Perhaps time has come to move out of this situation and is TN ready for it.........
