It is not at all true. Women are far more in front than men. The article is talking about people on the top positions of leading companies India. The real fact is that men are really back-footed by their counter parts at the same level of jobs. For example in many of the MNCs in the industrial capital, Mumbai, women employees are getting far better salaries (even 3 to 4 times of their counterpart) than men working at the same positions.
Women are successful in home and men outside home. Why this competition? Men can not bear children and so women are not adept in some works of life. Compensation and responsibility are connected with ability. Why to this comparison of apple and orange and unnecessarily instigate some. The best policy to live peaceful in life is know your potential and do justice to that.
We all talk just to create confusion and hate with such article, the status of women in society is still of dependent in majority cases, whether Govt. has taken care to guarantee first the employment to at least KARTA of a family, still no so far they have only looked after govt. servants, politicians and judiciary to provide them hefty pay, perqs. and retiral.
