A woman is the guardian of the house
by Ramamurthy Venkateswaran on Oct 26, 2015 08:05 AM

A child looks to the mother and perhaps a boy/girl looks to his/her father later. The first contact in the world is through the mother. A lady denies this to a soul if she completely gives up her role as a mother and opts to be a career oriented woman. It is not success of a woman as a careerist which equally applies to a man as at times he is successful and at times not. No point in brooding over later of a missing link in one's life. A woman in a village leads a satisfactory life as her role has been fulfilled and responsibilities discharged, ambitions met, while an urban woman will remain incomplete as she gives up one for the other. I am not prejudiced against woman, but respect them for their elated status and I play a second fiddle in my home, a supporting role to my wife and kids as I wish to give them a free hand.
