I applied for AAdhar Card in 2011...Still waiting.These guys said that they have lost my data and i have to come again ...Some effeciency of the Private Sector...!

The list will only keep growing, my friend. This happens only in India, where a person needs dozens of identity proofs. But when you apply for one, you need to wait for a decade to get the same, that is if you get it at all. Incredible India !!!!

You just need a money card. Every other card will be at your door steps, once you have the money card. Realize this and work towards getting a money card and also learn how/where to use it.

I think our friend has not understood the concept of AAdhar card. This is supposed to be base card where all biomatirc details are stored and all other cards (like passport, driving licence, voters card etc.) to be obtained based on this card. You must have noticed this years IT Returns forms, with AAdhar card no need of digital signature required. We as responsible citizens must understand the basic concept and help Government in its efforts rather than criticizing it. One must appreciate that the Goverment has so far issued over 90 crore Aadhar cards, no where in world such mamoth task is completed. I wont be surprised in future every individual will be identified by the number given to him by Government. And once this is completed, probaly all other cards will be subsidiary cards. Just wait for a few years, you will have mobiles recognizing biometic data which will link your aadhar card to your personal details and you can do varification transactions just by swiping your finger prints and entire aadhar card data will come as support. Hope this is NOT A SENSELESS PRETECHNLOGY ERA THOUGHT PROCESS.
