Gujarat's enforced prohibition has hit its tourism sector, as well as setting up of MNCs( western nations). Even in the field of tourism, Gujarat pales in front of its northern neighbour- Rajasthan which is India's leading tourist destination for foreigners. Infact, Gujarat is a laggard in tourism, & is languishing at the bottom of the list of major states of India.
