Retirement homes

It is a business today. Every need is made into a money spinner by the greedy. Imagine a retirement home/flat at over 50 laks-1cr !!!!!

And the food bills and maint bills are min in Coimbatore abt 15000 per person x 2=30000. Medical help is additional.

Reasonably it should be abt 12000 pm for two. Moreover the kitchen is run by the old age sponsors/builders. They keep this under them and make money on this....like a hotel/food establishment. No choice to the flat owners to run the kitchen except thru them.

I enquired on this point with 2 Coimbatore builders but they refused to divulge details or include a suitable clause in the flat agreement. It is time for Govt intervention.

Very soon old age ppl will be seeking help from the authorities. It is not old age ppl managing themselves, it is a builder managing an old age centre.

The cost of these houses is exorbitant. Common man never able to buy this at the time of retirement since his total retirement funds will not b more than 50 lacs. Those who has huge fund for disposal they should think of charity rather than self lavish living. Follow Gandhiji. If enjoyed lavish life till retirement then why again desire for kingly life style. Live common people and share your wealth with poor.
