Why other sector bear burden of Government Employee .
by Sanjay Tomar on Nov 28, 2015 11:36 AM

Why in seventh pay commission have more impact on GDP even we take inflation in consideration, government Job getting reduced day by day but impact on GDP increased very fast compared to previous pay commission is nothing more inflation, that people of India has to pay who already getting exploit in private sector getting very low salary at low level, farmer not getting justified price of their crop. This seventh pay commission can't be justified if we compared private sector low level salary, farmer condition because of government anti farmer policy. Why other should bear burden of government employee who already in bad condition. In India only few people have right to enjoy majority of the people getting exploit can't be tolerate.

Pay commission
by arungopal agarwal on Nov 23, 2015 05:48 PM

All common man are unhappy due to hike in pension by 24%, everyone has lost their carry home due to lower rate of interest, whereas govt. retiree will get more and more, why this bias and ill treatment to common man. Everyone must be linked with incentive pension instead of EPFO. Why Rs.1 lac crore impact is taken to tax further.

7th pay is no burden on govt
by vasanth m on Nov 23, 2015 09:22 AM

Financial impact 1.02 lakh crore.
Govt takes back atleast Rs 20,000cr by way of CGEGIS (avg of rs 2500 pm from each employee)
Govt collects tax of atleast Rs 20,000 cr.
On the face of itself about Rs 45000cr is taken back by govt from 1 lakh crore.
when Inflation is at high, GDP on high growth track and favorable economic position of India, the pay to Govt employees is nothing. On the net, Govt just merged DA into basic. done nothing. No burden at all on Govt.

Increase in IT Limit.
by Ramendra Sinha on Nov 22, 2015 12:58 PM

Instead of allocating an extra Rs.1 Lac Crore of taxpayers money towards hiked salaries of govt employees, it should have increased the IT Slabs for all salaried class to 5 Lacs, 7.5 Lacs and 10 Lacs respectively. This would not only have the same financial impact but would have benefited the private sector employees also.

Increase in purchasing power by a larger consumer base could have fuelled a higher demand and economic growth and also not widen the salary gap between both sectors.

Pay hike
by rajan melekalathil on Nov 22, 2015 12:30 PM

The increase in the salary will be offset to a great extent by the income tax axe 30% tax on income of salaries person means his earnings will be reduced to that extent. The FM should do something to reduce the tax burden of the employees The limit exemption limit should be increased to min. 10 lacs

Is pay hike for Central Govt. justified.
by Ranson Gomez on Nov 22, 2015 12:29 PM

Considering that a majority of people are working in the pvt. and unorganised sectors whose wages or salary are much lower than the central govt. employees, barring very few corporators and personnel working in higher echelon. After the implementation of 7 CPC benefits, the pvt and unorganised sectors employees are going to be the worst affected lot because of higher inflation and price hike of all commodities including white goods. Therefore the present level of hike is not justified for central govt. employees. As a matter of fact their are already getting much higher scales of pay than others. The inflation and price hike is also taken care of by means of two half yearly DAs. No hike is required as of now.

same govt policies as UPA
by kieran dsouza on Nov 20, 2015 10:44 PM  | Hide replies

this govt should have scrapped all salary commissions indefinitely until a sense of work ethics is inculcated in these babus most of whom require heavy palm greasing to do any sort of work. if 1,00,000 crore is going to be allocated for merely salaries then we are headed for Greece type economic bankruptcy sooner than later. it seems the party in power has forgotten the people who voted it to power and is catering to 1% elites.

fixed income earners and non-pensioners in pvt sector face a double whammy of lower FD interest rates.

third stab in the back by meaningless cess like Swach Bharat cell and increase in service tax by 2% to 14%

the worst part is, this increase will be followed by all PSUs, State Govts, and all other govt. organisations, leaving a very big gap between govt n pvt sector.
