If what Jaitley has stated, that it is due to the opposition unity that NDA lost, then he has to admit that it was because of a divided opposition that BJP won in the 2014 GE, & there was no Modi wave,or the Modi wave has completely waned off in 2015 Bihar elections. Now BJP/Jaitley have to decide which of the two is true?

Earlier in the last parliament BJP always sought help of the same opposition to have it's say effectively. Now the same opposition is considered a road block for BJP and it's policies and it is not surprising when BJP leaders accuse them for every failure.
It is politics and it is always amusing.

Reform
by on Nov 09, 2015 11:36 AM

Is Mr Jaitly talking about reforms?
They do nothing till date. How can they promise for more. Reforms require only few days not years.

In 5 years, you will certainly take scalp of Modi, what is your role so far in last one and half year except to increase the wider tax net to cover all LIG and MIG group, which is strength of BJP, without giving anyone feeling of SWARAJ. Budgetary performance is not better to UPA for common man.

NDA's defeat in Bihar not a setback but an eye opener
by sunil rebello on Nov 09, 2015 11:22 AM  | Hide replies

Hope the BJP top brass got the Bihar message.
they have come to serve the people.
they have only one idea.. that they have come to rule..not so.
BJP also has to come up with new ideas.
the PM does not require to run around the world to beg for finance.
if he improves the TAX system and changes the BABU Raj culture.
then the world will come automatically to invest here.
Corruption is slowly getting hold of the BJP..they should be careful of their members.. money corrupts the best of men / women.

I think Mr. Rebello hit the nail on its head. Time to stop rethorics and get down to brass tacks. Otherwise, people will start losing faith in NDA, which got a massive mandate with great hope from common man.

If no corruption then then there is no politician. Either UPA Or BJP or any other regional parties. This is must and it will come up within stipulated time and automatically BJP will be the same like Kichadi govt. Secondly reforms what exactly the reforms meaning by Mr Jaitley. All reforms made by UPA now these people only encashing and nothing else. Jaitely is totally Zero in economics but yes he is good in law because law is his cup of tea and not economic but he has to depending only these babus and it is sure babus will not give complete ideas and will not share reason every one knows. Wait another e.5 years you will judge what is the Dal Rice and FDI. Jai Hind.

this is time Mr. Modi should change financial portfolia and give it to any knowledge economist instead of knowledge of law. This is fine Mr Jaitley is a very good friend of Mr. Modi but it will serve the purpose of economics also Mr. Jaitley never won the election and always entered back door. Our PM Should keep freindship and politics in two different places either Mr. Shah or Mr. Jaitley PM want to run the govt and do for india bitterment instead of shining friendship this will increase image not only in India also in international community. Dont give must value to NRI instead of international business community where import and exports business is going on and that is the benefit to India instead of running to NRI. FRIENDSHIP TO KEEP OUT OF POLITICS AND THEY WILL CAUSE YOU FOR LONG TIME AND CREATE PROBLEMS TO MR. MODI'S IMAGE. Jai Hind

Please do not forget that reforms were initiated when PVN Rao was PM in 1992 and Dr Man Mohan Singh was FM.
