Your sensorship is arbitrary and biased. It seems you do not like any criticism of Modi govt. Is it not a fact that toor dal prises skyrocketed from Rs 70/ per kg to more than Rs 200/ per kg in a span of merely 4 months and our govt under Hon PM Modiji could do nothing to stop this?

by on Nov 11, 2015 10:39 AM

In a nasion where people vote Masters of corapsion, those who use innocent but true, honest and Gnadhi Ji like leaders -Annaji and ruuthlessly throughoat, Alining with emprers of corapsion directly or indirectly (Kej support to Ntish) by those who raised banar India against corapsion and fasted for Janlokpal, Votin for convcted persons (Lalu Ji) so on and so forth indicates that we do nat deserve any good sosity. Happy nasion, Develped nasion. Need for a Development Agenda
by Sanjay Singh on Nov 11, 2015 10:13 AM

Defeat and victory are the two faces of the same coin. One can never be always invincible nor can one always face defeats. It is more important to learn from the defeat and to prevent recurrences by objectively analyzing the causes and reasons.

India is NOT an Autocracy nor a Monarchy and the rule of the game in a democracy is to encourage “team work”. Unfortunately, this concept of “Team-B” does not seem to exist in most of the political parties in India that just promote selfish individual worship.

In the India of the 21st century, Arrogance (Amit Shah); Mediocrity (Rahul Gandhi) or just plain talking will not do. People want to see results and want to experience the positive change of development. It is high time to deliver on the various election promises. Where are the roads; the schools; the health facilities; or even safe drinking water and electricity in this so-called “Global Economic and Political Power” that is India??

While there can always be some temporary, passing aberrations but let us not forget that good governance, transparent decision making and honesty is ALWAYS respected and valued! Let us hope our wise political leaders can learn this basic lesson.

HAPPY DEEPAWALI!!!

Modi should have ensured that...
by Suresh Tenvillage on Nov 10, 2015 10:25 AM  | Hide replies

1)To tame the rising prices of pulses he should have imported at least 1 lakh MT (Rs.800 crore intl mkt)of Tur (Redgram) and flooded the market.

2)There are many govt depts. which are unproductive should have been disbanded, so that wage bill would have been tamed.

(Appreciate some ministers are holding twp portfolios, otherwise ould hve incurred lot of expenses).

3) Middle class is the backbone of Indian tax collection and is overburdened at present. Therefore, investment rebates under sec 80C should have been increased to Rs.5 lakh from the present 1 lkah. This investment (around 8% ROI) would have been used for national infrastructure projects. At the same time it would have been great relief for the middle class.

4) Tax structure should be enforced in such way that it should come from all section of the society rather than selected one which already overburdened. also, the amount would be large enough with min cost on collection.

5)There should special corporate tax structure for pvt education institutions as this has become a money minting industry in the last 15-20 years. All black money is embroiled in this industry.

6) Central fund to the states should only go for major infrastructures and all social sector expenditure required for the state should come from state in certain percentage of the total tax collection. So that state can decide how much it want to spend on social sector depending on its social order. It would have also brought certain responsibility .

Modi failed on many fronts. Price of pulses, onion, corporate reforms (disinvestment), administrative reforms, judicial reforms, tax reforms, decentralization of power-- to name a few. his achievements are overshadowed by failures. he should speak only what he can do.

BJP REQ COMMON MAN LIKE THINKING STRATEGIST - NOT HIGH INTELLECT
by sonali on Nov 09, 2015 08:34 PM

BJP got majority on backdrop of corruption and inflation of previous govt but since last 18 month not a single good effective legislation is brought by goverment to tame this menace but instead tried to push few bad legisalation through ordinance which brought lot of negative impact on BJP. Insted of bring pro people legislation first even if dont have numbers in R.S to pass it people would know the agenda of combined opposition if they defeat such legialation and than push for less popular legislation like land bill and other atleast people have trusted government move and intenses.....

Economy & Bihar Election
by Ravindran Eswaran on Nov 09, 2015 07:07 PM  | Hide replies

It is not enough that Modi and BJP should reform for the sake of India and its economy. Of course they should take stock and make corrections in their behaviour. But the opposition too should think about the country and its economy. It should give constructive support to the Govt. for its efforts to make headway in reform measures; and not oppose for the sake of opposition. Nitish Kumar should endeavour and persuade Lalu and the Congress to think about the country, which is not BJP country, but our country - yours and mine. Nitish Kumar is reponsible. But he should not allow Lalu to use his numbers along with Rahul\'s to drag him (Nitish).

Very well said Ravi. Everyone of us are getting impacted with the deadlocks except the politicians. Either they go and take some soft skills trainings to improve their contributions in the country's development or leave politics. People want country's development. You can fight but not at the cost of the country.

IF U see any indian organisation a person who works silently and sincerely --NEVER GETS CREDIT FOR HIS WORK instead others take it away . also people forget with time the one who worked sincerely .. But they remember the one Who keeps on boasting . therefore all people and politicians in india have one policy -- DO HALF THE WORK AND BLOCK THE REMAINING PART , DONT DO ANYTHING . WHEN THE PERSON IN NEED BEGS 10 TIMES DO 5 PERCENT WORK . AND LEAVE THE REST . AGAIN WHEN HE COMES TO BEG , do some part or leave it . In this way one can maintain his importance and respect from the needy ones IN THE ORGANISATION - . AND ONLY THESE PEOPLE GET PROMOTED IN ALL INDIAN ORGANISATIONS -- who dare to block the issues related to others INTENTIONALLY / AS the indian mind respects the one who kicks him on his back /Even the police behave in the same manner taking advantage of their being policemen / the common man of india also deals with his colleagues in the same manner -- SO THE SAME IS REFLECTED IN THE PARLIAMENT -- MOST OF THE ISSUE ARE NOT SOLVED AND leaders keep on shouting -- after all people are observing on DOORDARSHAN .INDIANS ALSO SEE THAT the MP whom they elected shouts and blocks the sessions , and feel good that they elected him .MP also thinks that by shouting his people will feel he is fighting for their rights . WHO CARES FOR ACTUAL SOLUTION FOR THE ISSUES . The current govt has a good vision of the future population growth and job requirements .

Instead of giving sermons to opposition parties, why not request Modi govt to shed arrogance of power and adopt a policy of cooperation?
