these days some weather forecasters have started their business... they are like jyotishis .... albeit with different terminologies .... one private firm comes up a report on monsoon which is contra to the IMD forecast a few days later. These people continue to spar till the end of monsoon, when everyone finds that the actual monsoon is 95% or more than the last 20 years average. But by this time the traders have made their fortunes by jacking up prices of essential commodities and creating a scare of shortages. * I happened to download two weather apps on my mobile a few days ago ... their temperature measurements(not predictions) of the same city at the same time differ by 3 to 4 degrees, how is that possible ? * Similar confusing data is presented to authorities like NGT regarding pollution figures resulting in inappropriate rulings.
Rating agencies, IMF, World bank and other agencies belong to USA. Seeing China rise in international market, these agencies since last 10 years are hyping Indian growth. They know India is such poor country where its poor people represents 1/3rd in world. Why then? By hyping growth for India, world bank wants world to invest in India. What will happen? By showing rosy pictures, if world invest in India, it can then stop the China monopoly or Chinese growth miracle and balance power in the region. If China grow at his speech, it will surpass America very soon and then America will have less say in world. This is one reason.
Other is no doubt Indian private sector is more organized and superior to China we agree. May be Indian banks and financial institution follow international governance we agree, but Indian government is substandard and real fruit of growth will not reach poor if government performs that poor. China has state capitalism means profit making state units
