i ve read this article in the backdrop of a series of tragic developments having taken away a number of valuable lives. I felt that more and more people are getting vulnerable to disastrous ends in lives owing to mental and physical isolation generated out of the present day social, financial and ethical outlooks. I think people are getting more and more isolated and disconnected because of weaker social fabrics etc. I think we need to strengthen our socialist structure and outlook by reenergizing our mass movements, cooperative ventures, mass employment programs etc and also strengthen our NGOs to fill in various areas crying for immediate attention and input. I doubt if private enterprises alone can provide large scale employment opportunities, welfare initiatives etc. in a vast country like india with our kind of strengths and weaknesses. We need more public-private partnership in all areas for robust infrastructure-developments, public transportation, production of basic goods etc. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. well said young mann we need more people to estabish a connection to the rural area in such a way that they take control of their lives and learn about the world around them the technologies that r out there new ones which can make their lives so much better. Just by buying 3 solar panels at 40,000 rupees will give them free electricty for life they need to be told these things and that there are loans avaiable for that plus even if you cant pay it back the government will right it off in the end so there is no need to take your own life simple. anyway well done those boys..
