now everybody is drawn into politics, so can't appreciate anything. Sad state of affairs
Why do these politicians pose before such projects which are essentially made by the people of this country and these politicians have had no role to play in it,except delaying it. The SC Guidelines should be strictly followed that no politicians except President and PM's photo should be displayed publicly for such things.
Dear Rediff Publish an article on all the metro works going on in the country, start date, project status, budget details, commencement date etc...then we can judge which project is the quickest and most efficient.
It is pity that Mega Bangalore city is yet to get a proper Metro. Just before elections they will inauga=urate a small stretch and then sleep/lout for five years. Banglaore has the worst public transport system and killere roads

No no...Pune takes the crown there. For the past 8 years they are debating whether it should be over the ground or underground and have still not been able to decide it. One year they decide to run it over the ground, next year under the ground.

In Karnataka we voted for a government and in particular a CM who is arrogant and not doing anything for the state particularly Bangalore is suffering because of him, metro work is delaying, roads are horrible. SM Krishna & Yediyurappa were the best CM's who did lot of good work.
