One simple question..........did Goldman Sachs pay this man and his team to take over the debt owed to Goldman Sachs by Greece. Common sense provides the answer.
The Greek can't blame the German Finance Minister for their financial mess. Did he create the problem? No. Every country must learn to live within its means just as we do in a Family. After the war, Germany and Japan were totally destroyed. But they again rose to become economic giants due to Financial Discipline, hard work by its people and a good political leadership. The Greeks lacked all these things during the last few decades and have landed themselves in this mess. Unless you sacrifice something you can't get something you want.
Business as usual will not do for the Greeks and a few years of hardship will have to be endured by them to come out of their problems.
