yes its 60 buks....a common man will not pay, why should we pay when we pay somany taxes. Its govt responsibility to built hussel free road ways for betterment and growing economy at the price of which is already paid by common man!
All these projects are boon for corporates and politicians to make money and LOOT MUMBAIKARS AND MAHARASHTRA. Look at scenario, Mumbai constructed only 12 KM Metro and now Mumbaikars are charged Rs. 40 for Varsova Ghatkoper, which will go up to 110. In contrast, in Delhi, you can travel 55km at Rs.28. Starting ticket Rs. 8 increasing by Rs. 1 per station whereas in Mumbai it increases by Rs. 10 per station. Delhi Metro constructed at cost of Mumbai.. when Mumbai provides funds out of central excise, Service tax, customs and Income Tax. What is the comparative collection in Delhi?? Negligible. Come and loot Mumbaikars. No one is there to worry. Wish SHIV SENA AND MNS come forward and protest such high tariff and start campaign to boycott RELIANCE METRO. ( In Delhi, the same Reliance reduced fare of Luxuary Airport express Metro from Rs. 150 to Rs. 100 after protests)... Will Shivsena and MNS note this ?

Instead of just chanting about Mumbai's collection and blaming Delhi for looting,Do self introspection as which party is in BMC and looting ,why are the roads one of the worst built and maintained by the richest municipality in India. If court has allowed to increased the fare of metro why no party protested.Moreever Reliance didn't reduce the fares in Delhi, they sold off to DMRC after running into losses. It is DMRC who has reduced the rates of Airport metro
all roads in Mumbai are disasters except some vip ones.. western express highway takes the crown I think it is hard to belive you can't build a long lasting road but boast of reaching mars its easy to build a road that lasts years like foreign coutnries but that would make corrupt contractors poor
I cannot understand why governments are not pushing for BRTS. It can be very easily done but the reluctance on the part of governments is baffling. Build a 1000 flyovers, Tunnels etc.. they will all get congested in no time. The only way out is use of public transport.

For BRTS you need to give a dedicated lane on road from existing one which we don't have. I have seen in other countries were they have introduced BRTS and have failed coz traffic for regular vehicles has increased threefold
more concrete lesser greeneries, many crorepatis by way of kickbacks in contract.Dug up roads water filled during monsoons, more traffic jams for few more years,.At the end of all this, toll will be at unaffordable rate like metro fares. This is the story of coastal road
yes.. and make commuter suffer with digging for rest of their lives with project delays you can't maintain smooth road and talk abt big projects.. seal link has taken a decade. or more..
