As long as the countries have no right to print their own currency and there are vast disparities in the various economic benchmarks, the Euro is doomed to fail. There MUST be political unification before economic unification. The divergences between various states become unmanageable especially when each keeps their own interest paramount at the cost of other member states.
RBI would be advised to slowly move away from Euro as a reserve currency.
