how about also make some Transit city. Transit city will be like singapore and dubai and able to provide short stop for EAst-West travellers. choices would be Goa,thiruvanthapuram,chennai etc. would need facilities of 1st World with prices of 3rd world
what is smart city? are they planning fully new city or fit existing city/town?? some small towns are quite good already and they can be made into smart city. example belgaum,karwaR,pondicherry,mandya,thrissur,palghat,coonoor..these are small south towns.
its good idea but where are they to be located? please select places with Good Weather !also make sure there are a)wide roads b)good garden parks and jogging paths c)many trees d)train connection e)good malls etc have good and unique architecture.remember just having a smart city wont be enough ,you must have good lifestyle too !

Okay, and do you know the government has alloted Rs.7000 crores for 100 smart cities, that is 70 crores for a smart city, I think even building a mall costs higher.
