Mister. The article is talking about Ebay Inc. The job cuts is happening in the company - and is not limited to India. I am not advocating whether Modi is better or worse, but yes Ebay laying off should not be related to Modi
The mushrooming of web based Retail Business may shortly get stripped of their mask strangely fatal attraction to Private Equity Investors, who turn blind eyes to serious & persuasive strugglers, particularly creative manufacturers. Just the market size does not define prospects - it is also a factor of demography, culture, styles, banking status and % of population using credit cards, internet friendliness, buying habits of consumers etc. Such mushrooming outfits may be another type of temporary fund enjoying game like ponzi businesses like WB Saradha type. Ebay may be an early indication.
