BJP is all about marketing..
by kabir on Jan 06, 2015 10:50 PM

BJP is all about marketing without substance, of course! Can the people know how much they are spending on such marketing activities? do the government now have a special marketing and sales budget too? There is nothing wrong in learning from the USA or any other country but just showing off without any substance is what BJP is doing.

one more intellectual after Montek Singh?
by suresh kumar on Jan 06, 2015 10:22 PM  | Hide replies

Manmohan Singh had Montek singh Ahluvalia, a highly accomplished economist, who held high positions in World Bank, IMF etc. But unfortunately, his roots remained in high places, and mind remained cut off from the common man. No wonder, he was not aware of the cost of a square meal in Delhi! All those economic policies he developed were to help the corporate world, both Indian and US. So far Panagariyaji did not say anything about Modiji's brutal cut of Health budget! So nothing better is in offing for the ordinary voter!

All rulers want India to be United States of America and professors from USA. Finally, he is here to transform India under NEETI. Will he transform India to Vedic period or Modern India as USI ?

What about rural growth ?
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Jan 06, 2015 01:44 PM  | Hide replies

Growth would be great but it can't mean growth in only industries, dams, mines. Hope that Mr Panagariya also focuses on agri and horticultural growth as well. This will mean that big businesses will have to be kept out of grabbing prime irrigated land and the NDA must back such policies. As a US citizen , I'm not sure Dr Panagariya would fully appreciate the real problems of the rural and farming folk, nor has he spoken anything about such issues.

The task of Mr Panagariya is to demolish all pillars of a socialistic governance and set a firm ground for SETH-O-CRACY.

All the natural resources, land and forest belongs to Sethjis and we are illegal owners.

Government will ensure through legislation that these are transferred smoothly and all voices of dissent by poor peasants and workers are crushed.

All this in the name of failed policy that more industrialization will create more jobs, more income and more GDP.
