As per the report about 25% of the Indians are poor, may be true. What is the divide ? Basic requirements: 3 times good food, 5 sets of dress for everybody, a weather proof shelter, even if it were a thached hut, basic education upto 10th std and medical facilities at an hours journey. Can we achieve this level by 2020 ? No, until the new Govt concentrates fully towards this, without wasting time in finding the faults done by the predecessors. Can Modiji "MODI"fy this culture?

The Congress party though that only if the people were poor they would vote for the Nehru dynasty and the party. They were completely mistaken because sufficient fraction of the population became more educated and wealthy to tip the balance.

The fraction of the population that became more educated and wealthy crossed the critical mass region by a huge margin.
Modiji ruling.. 100 days he brought back all black money, still struggling?? he found Comman having black money not cooperates , all the corperates joining to Modji's team, (black money ??).. Chaiwala became corperate wala, any doubt?? what a desaster . we deserved this, no doubt..
i agree with the facts.some may pretend to be poor but we do have tons of poor in India which is shame for our country. I dont know why people say that some have 15k worth of mobile but then you hv to come out of the mumbai slums and move to the villages and second level cities to see the plight of these people. and why it could not be. Minimum wage in developed country for any odd work is $8 an hr (ie 500 rupees) and in india, it might be much lesser than 200 rupees a day .. so it is $3 vs $64 .. we have bound to have poors and then on top of it our unhelping attitude aggravates the situation.

There is no poverty in India, then congress did amazing job last 100 years then why we blamed congress.. why Modiji?? or modiji did this?? can you clarify??
Out of 30 Crore at least 25 Crore are acting poor to get benefits. There are televisions in every home in slums also. Everybody has a mobile phone. Poverty is just on papers for politicians and people to eat their share of tax payers money.
Irony is, real poor in India are the Middle class honest citizens who work hard and pay taxes. But no body cares about them.

You are quite correct. Nevertheless, the personal incomes of the poorer class will increase by a factor if 25-30 within 20 years if a prime minister like Narendra Modi leads India. The indications are very clear, although the socialism tilted press constantly attacks Modi. We never saw such rapid changes under Congress adminsitrations.
All the poor people were expecting the AccheDin to come after Modi becomes Prime Minister. Modi has not fulfilled a single promise he made before elections. No stand against corruption, rapists, Ganga cleaning, Pakistan, China.. India is suffering only because of it's Politicians who are doing business with Crony Capitalists after coming to power
I have seen people in extreme poverty in Mumbai use mobile phones worth 15,000 rupees. This was not an exception but a rule in almost all parts of the city. I am not passing judgement but simply stating the facts.
