Good beginning and good going indeed. There may be obstacles, but a beginning has been made. Create wealth and distribute wealth. This is what is called giving back to the Society. Big Heart. May Providence be with you.
I am not sure how you take this project forward and how the beneficiaries would benefit out of it, but I knew, certainly you would make a dent in this endeavor! Congratulations!
It is a good thing that Mr.Nandan is trying things in his own style. There is nothing wrong. From Where APJ learnt things? It was not digital. What we now need is only dedicated teachers, who love teaching. It is the passion that counts sir. Please do not pump billions into dust bins. I am sure you won't do that. Just like the SUPER 30 hand pick good kids and train them suitably. Government can provide the rest of the work. What for do we have the Government in place?
Dear Mr.Nandan Nilakani and Ms.Rohini You both are doing fantastic and the poor and middle class families need your help on Medical and Education. Please give first priority to this and utilize all your welfare fund to this good cause....!
They may pool their resources and develop world class teaching material from class 1 to 12 in all subjects( leaving controversial history aside) chapter wise/ topic wise as video on demand. Offer this material free to CBSE and all education boards in the country. Arrange to provide players and projectors in every school. Offer vod free on internet. Let DD run telecast regular classes. This is the only way to provide standard all over the country. Enrollment is not the problem. major areas of concern now are attendance and standard.
we appreciate the good work. pl think about distance education for rural children & women with pre-recorded teachings, pre-fabricated(standardised) classrooms. to some extent, this will overcome acute shortage of teachers.
Real inspirational work from Rohini and Nandan in starting EkStep. The hurdle is the access cost, if this duo are going to mindlessly put in proprietary infrastructure systems. The entire platform should be based on GNU/Linux/free software, for all delivery processes. If not it would slowly creep into one big mess!
