WE SHOULD TAKE THE TOP RAILWAY BOSS TO TRAVEL ON SUCH TRAIN ( PHOTOGRAPH GIVEN IN THE ARTICLE) SO AS TO TEACH THEM HOW DIFFICULT AND WHAT ARE THE SUFFERINGS COMMON MAN IS FACING. NO INITIATIVE, NO PLAN FOR ANY IMPROVEMENT. THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO PRIVATIZE THE RAILWAY.

is railways free of corruption
by amit agarwal on Aug 03, 2015 12:52 PM

this is the question which railways need to ask itself first before taking non-sense. everyone knows there is a huge huge corruption in railways. even if railways sells all the scrap lying all over india near tracks it will get approx 5000 crores. if it sets up solar panels throughout india besides tracks it will generate so much electricity that it will cut down on electricity cost. so railways should improve itself first. this fact was what mamta banerjee understood and that is why she didn't increase fare. just increasing fare is not the solution. the central govt should stop taking dividend from railways every year.

The most incompetent practice which Railways continue to do is not having ticket counters on each platform. This will not only bring down ticket-less travel, but also increase their revenue
