If government can increase rail fare due to high cost factor, what stops them from raising Minimum support price of crops when farmers will be required to spend more money for irrigation in the absence of normal rain.
I think some sensitivity is needed. Government should look beyond telecom operators interest.
The arbitrary method of increasing Minimum support price of crop should be regulated by TRAI like bodies and should not be left at the whims and fancies of ministry.
