Biggest curse on the earth is poverty, every politicians since 1947 is talking for Kisan, poor only but looked after only govt. servants and politicians, still feeling of SWARAJ has not come in common man. He is governed by thousands of laws all favour Govt., no where accountability towards common man by anyone. If India is at the bottom, those who should feel ashamed are happy.

None can make us happy because majority of us lie on each and every subject. And on the top of it, if one is not happy he/she cannot make others happy. Are bhai koun kehta humlog happy nahi hai, uh ? humse jyada happy to puri duniyame koi ho hi nahi sakta aur agar koi hai bhi to oh zoot bol raha hai ..... samze ke nahi ?
Feeling happy without any reason is a sign of mental illness
the silly chanting of names of politicians or gurus seems to have moderated a bit with realism in the mirror and some crazy sants and sadhusin jail
the people seem to have matured a bit and probably got a little more depressed, cynical and dangerous too..we are at an inflexion point, that's what many of us share in the the conversations
the positive side is, they are coming out of the closet...like the brave deepika padukone who helped many people to share their misery and seek help
the not so good part is the political bickering specially with some mad caps and megalomaniacs getting elected. We have all the smart people like Raghuram Rajan etc. helping, but we have to see if the politicians have it in them to act,,which means cleaning up the system even if there are short term risks

Such lopsided findings ... Pakistan, Palestine, Bangladesh etc ... surely, this must be a result of some bias in the sample, or wrong framing of questionnaire ... or error in interpretation of responses. Otherwise, how could Paksitan, Palestine be ahead of India in happiness index?

Actually this is a joke. If the pakkis Palaestines , Bagladeshi are not killed till evening , they become happy, but we Indian If we do not get sweet or Ice cream then we are sorry. This is the parameter and result of such fake survey
We will keep getting such useless reports as long as Preiiyya Philli of Ghrean Pheace and Phoard Foundtion, Maeddha Phattcurr types remain active. These NGOz spend all the time in this country in peace and the they have the temerity to berate our country.

Every one has the right to criticize this country, including you and me. They may say things I don't always agree with, but this is a free country; they are putting out their opinions in front of others.
To agree or disagree, on a case-by-case basis is what is expected.
I was surprised to know that the government had secret no-fly lists and that it is the ambition of many people to live in a mined-out wasteland.
