Do not know who is poor, only know that all politicians are talking for poor only from 1950 onward, when it comes to subsidised ration and related items their number crosses more than 80 crore. Why tax payers money is wasted for vote bank, why their population is not controlled. Everyone is playing with them.

I feel that definition of not only poor but so many other items such as secularism, minority community etc. need to be reviewed. How do we reach at the number of poor in India. What they don't have to make them included in poor. A poor in India has a CTV, a two wheeler, two gross meals, a place to live and so many other things. Instead of taxing the honest tax payers by wasting their money on all this political agenda, the best what can be done is to abolish all subsidies and heavily subsidies all food items so that even if a person is earning very low can have two times proper meals for his family and sleep peacefully with stomach full. This subsidy should be for all living in India and not the few as is the case now where few people under different definitions are provided with subsidized food, subsidized kerosene and other things. Even the retired army personnel get subsidized items from Army Canteens for the entire family whereas this facility should be (If at all necessary) for the retired officer/other army men and their wife and not for the entire family with whom they are living and also for those members who are not living with them.
