we r still in those 50s and 60s of the US. Here any amount of lie can be told, and any amount of stereotyping can be reenforced to sell a product! In no other country can the likes of complan and horlicks get away with their ads!

what to do we Indians are not happy about the way we are. rest of the world, white, black, yellow, all accept themselves as they are. it has also got to with poets in our culture who always praised the fail skin.
Look at the world after 50 to 60 years and may be what you are vouching for today will end up being a crime! Never apply sensibilities and rules where they were not supposed to be applied.

Slowly definition of modernization will also appear criminal after 30/40 years later. like high-rise building, petrol/diesel based cars, coal based power station, AC etc. water, wind, solar energy based businesses will be considered cool and hip.

Exactly! if u r really concerned, analyze and correct today's world.....Don't ridicule our earlier generations. They built the platform u are now standing on and criticizing them.

See there is no analysis here.... simply the wrongness the old generation had put up. There is no crime revisiting past and finding out what was "wrong" then!
