India's biggest thief - Mukesh Ambani -

now gets to meet American corporates with the state acting as facilitator !

Narendra Modi has subtly avoided saying or doing anything about the biggest ever theft attempted in independent India's history - the overpricing of natural gas from the KG D6 basin operated by Reliance Industries.

It was not the 2G scam or the coal scam that was the biggest instance of corruption indulged in by the erstwhile Congress led UPA. It was the gas pricing scam. The potential loot from the KG D6 basin on account of overpricing alone would have been more than Rs. 3 lakh crores as per Mr. Surya Sethi, former advisor to the ministry of petroleum and natural gas. This claim was also supported by the findings of the CAG in its detailed audit of the failure of RIL to deliver gas as committed in the Production Sharing Contract signed by it.

While the 2G scam played itself out during the reign of the UPA itself, the coal scam was also in a fairly advanced state of being unravelled at the time of the 2014 LS elections. Today, the Supreme court has finally nailed the issue beyond any doubts and cancelled all the licences granted by the UPA to other big time thieves such as the Birlas.

It is only the KG D6 scam that has not reached much further than the CAG in terms of nailing the thieves behind it. It is in this issue that the new government headed by Modi could have taken a firm step by bringing out all the sordid details of the UPA's actions the details of which are surely available

with the MOPNG and the office of the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons.

Instead, Modi's govt. has quietly postponed taking a decision on the issue of the gas price hike that RIL has been claiming (and holding the govt. and nation to ransom by cutting production to just 13 % of the contracted quantity using the feeble pretext of sand presence in the well).

What is coming can surely be predicted by anyone familiar with how dyed-in-the-wool crony capitalist regimes such as that of Modi work. The govt. may first announce an all new committee to 'LOOK INTO' the issue of gas pricing and this committee may be given time enough to invent reasons for increasing the price to the levels set by the UPA !

Alternatively - as Mr. Surya Sethi as well as Mr. Tapan Sen (another gas pricing expert) have speculated - the Modi government could also give a moderate hike for the moment to RIL and then hand over the balance quantum of the intended loot through the back door by means of tax holidays or some such devious means !

Whatever way the gas pricing scam pans out, Indian commoners can sure expect to be ripped off to such an extent in just this one instance that would equal how much they are ripped off through tens of other scams that are so ordinary by comparison.

This is a very good move by Modiji to take such brilliant H1ndu businessmen with him on this visit.

After all, the only people who really care for India and its well being are H1ndu people and businessmen!

Everybody else is only living in India like parasites and beggars and contributing nothing other than being a super expensive burden on India!

Finally, the prayers of the persecuted H1ndu tax payers are being answered and the money they have been contributing for 6 decades is going to be used to address their interests and needs for a change!
