Don't compare yourself with America.
USA is different from rest of the world.
Since 1973 American dollar is pegged to OPEC Oil.

If You Buy OPEC Oil In Rupees, USA Will Declare War On You.
Google "Dollar hegemony"

Lackey of US

The author appears to be a lackey of US, & is quoting from US journals/websites/newspapers regarding China's intentions. Modi as Gujarat CM visited China 4 times, and is well aware of them & their views. US ignored Modi, & refused to give him visa for12 years, and now since he has become PM is ready to welcome him, Modi does not forget easily. The author's writing clearly reflects on his bias towards China, and it appears he too is paranoid that US may lose its rank of world's No 1 economy to China by 2022 as is being reported in International financial journals.

Someone "biased towards China" is unlikely to be a "Lackey of US".
And if Modi favors China it would be in national interest as it should be than due to personal grudge on visa issue.

Really....
as we speak china has occupied Indian territory, and has played dirty games of hegemony in the past 10 yrs for territorial expansion.
The writer is just providing evidence and logic on being tread carefully in relations with China who has never been a friend of anybody. It is by far the worst nation on earth in every aspect from Humanity to environment to nuclear proliferation...
