lessons to be learn for IIMs and IITians
by brian crasto on Oct 27, 2014 03:22 PM

The IITians and IIMs who are considered to be the cream of talent in India just want to go abroad and make money, and never think of giving money to the country staff, or poor people. Most of the industrialists think of cutting cost by employing workers at low salaries. Hats off to Savjibhai. I wish i could work under him

HOW CAN ONE CLAIM INCENTIVE AS GIFT.
by sudhakar sk on Oct 27, 2014 03:09 PM  | Hide replies

Dholakia's may be "good business-men";
but they can not calim
hard earned incentive to
as gift to publicise is
illegal and sheer publicityh
stunt by them.

There are many other exporters who payh
better incentive to work-force
like
Godrej,
Tata,
and
other
parsi owned company's
for gerations.

What is the big deal Dholakia's!.

Great Generosity of Hare Krishna Diamond of Surat
by P S SHAH on Oct 27, 2014 02:05 PM

Mumbai is the heart of diamond trade in the country but here the diamond merchants totally exploit the employees who has no fixed time of working and are compelled to work late all seven days during the week without any holidays. This is mostly an unorganised industry and industry employee dont have any terminal benefits like PF, gratuity etc. Whenever the employees are sent abroad they have to work for nearly sixteen hours and are not given any outstation allowances in foreign currency. This businessmen take very good care of all the government inspectors who never visit their premises inspite of knowing all the irregularities. This businessmen wear spotless white dresses but have no sympathy or consideration for helpless employees.Diamond market employee only get holiday at the time of Diwali till Labh Paancham. Whatever done by surat diamond merchant by showing very good generosity is rare in this industry and has set a good example which will compell others who can afford to do the same thing to their employees and give them a fair deal which they deserve.

Philanthropic bent of mind
by roy jose on Oct 27, 2014 12:59 PM

If Indian businessmen and industrialists have a philanthropic bent of mind, the 40 crore Indians who are living below the poverty line can at least join the middle class and provide food, clothing and shelter for themselves and their families.

there is no politics in this. Savjibhai knows the real investment is in manpower. in case you do not have dedicated employees you can have only tables and chairs in your office
