Doing business is difficult in India

No one knows exactly how many departments can stop you from doing your business. It takes forever to get some decision from government authorities. What is needed is a single window facility in handling business where rules and regulations are clear and monitored regularly. Any violation from set rules should be pointed out immediately and corrected promptly. Government should realize that this sector employs the largest number of people. I don't mean pilots and cabin crew alone. The people involved are from all walks of life such as taxi drivers, chefs, baggage handlers, cleaners, hotel employees, catering companies, tour guides etc. So government should be more proactive in saving and promoting airline industry.

Now truck drivers are owning Airlines and government allows them foreign exchange conversion to buy aircrafts. So why cannot they hire some kamwalis, teach them some hygeine and make them air-hostess. Also train them martial arts to beat pilot if he tries to exploit them or found drinking or smoking before flight.

It is so true that India's airlines face severe talent crunch!

Even airline owner Vijay Mallya has quit this business without repaying his debts to be a full-time muffChas3r!
