It is not clear whether he uses vegetable processed leather or chrome processed leather. If he is not using vegetable processed leather then he is simply a businessman like others. Only thing he has grabbed an opportunity in time in leather business. He is not reviving a old culture.

he could use veg tanned leather..however that would then raise the prices of his bags by quite a margin.. veg tanned leather takes 40 days to tank..compared with chrome tanning that takes hours..

the bags are not any cheaper now ... with that price he would be thinking on the lines of veg tanning surely, given his liking towards natural?
What title of article!! What's wrong being a businessman? Minimum can't get solace that provide source of income to another person and his family at least. Isn't it a good work??
