e-commerce

We have been experiencing unsatisfactory customer care from many of the e-commerce firms in India. In the first instance, many of them resort to selling substandard/poor quality/damaged/unusable items against an online order and when taken up, the response has been very poor. The customers are put to untold miseries by such so called businessmen.

The government must look into this aspect and most strict rules must be framed so that customer interest is protected. Such businessmen have made it a practice to cheat the customers and they continue to do that despite complaints. There must be some forum set up for addressing such grievances of customers. The government must consider this aspect asap.

Not govt required here...rather there should be professional private third-party service providers which vet the businessses for quality services and supplying what they promise.
If online customers find bad reviews about the companies or their products, they'll refuse to buy, unless they're gullible enough to go for price "deals"...the old adage still holds true: "if it seems too good to be true, it usually is".
